MLB umpires drop protest of ‘abusive participant behaviour’ pending assembly with commissioner

NEW YORK — Main League Baseball umpires have ended their protest of what they referred to as “abusive participant behaviour” after Commissioner Rob Manfred supplied to fulfill with their union’s governing board.
